Original Fairy Poem:
Fairies Delight

Original fairy poem: Fairies Delight

Fairies Delight

Fairies delight in warm sunny days
and misty moonlight nights;
In the laughter of children
Lighthearted and carefree
and in the parents who love them.

Fairies delight in the splendor of spring,
the falling of leaves and the sparkling snow;
And they dance and make merry
when someone contrary
opens her heart to the light.

Fairies delight in the smell of the earth,
the trickling streams and the wide flowing rivers;
They dance in the trees
and they fly in the wind
And enjoy whatever is given them.
