Original Fairy Poem:
Fairies All Around

Do fairies only live in the country?
In gardens and woods and byways?
Are there city fairies
Dancing along our highways?
Do they look down
From airy skyscrapers?
Do they live among us
As our friends and our neighbors?
Or does all the noise
Frighten them away,
And all the pollution
Cause them dismay?
Is it possible fairies are all around us?
Are our senses just dulled to their light?
Have we pushed them into a corner,
Do they only come out at night?
Oh, let's welcome them into our busy lives,
Take a moment to sit in their midst,
Make them spaces that are cozy and safe
And peacefully co-exist!
