Original Fairy Poem:
A Fairy's Life

Original fairy poem: A Fairy's Life

A Fairy's Life

In the garden, among the flowers,
tiny fairies are shining brightly;
Play along the breeze in the sunshine,
dance with stars above them nightly.

With hearts light as feathers they flitter about,
every challenge is faced with a wink and a laugh;
Carefree and easy is their way of living,
eyes filled with wonder they travel life's path.

They gather sweet nectar from fine smelling clover,
make miniature houses on branches of trees;
Their hours are filled with the softest of pleasures
till they settle down into a slumberous ease.

Dreams full of magic carry them to the dawn,
and in these hours is pleasantest rest,
Weaving thoughts of tomorrow all hopeful and splendid;
of all nature's creatures I love fairies the best.

Were I given the chance to come back as something
I know that a fairy is what I would be;
Live a lifetime--live a lifetime
resilient, lighthearted, radiant and free.
